William G. Weed, Co. I, buried in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, New York, in Section 16, S ½ 3. He was the original captain of Co. I, but was not mustered in. Born on August 26, 1822, in Swanton Falls, Vt. Died on January 16, 1884, in New York City, N.Y., from pneumonia at age 63 years, 4 months, 23 days.
